Somatic sessions
The word “somatic” is rooted in the greek word “soma” which translates to “the living body in it’s wholeness”.
If trying all the things - talking, thinking, traditional cognitive therapies, physical therapies - haven’t resulted in the deeper or lasting changes or relief you are seeking and know might be possible know this.
Although you are likely feeling stuck, confused, frustrated, discouraged…you are not broken, and you are not doomed.
Through the lens of somatics, your stresses, struggles, and symptoms are a language of your body. These “unspoken” communications are often holding insights, information, and invitations to listen more deeply and tend to, and support your innate ability and capacity to heal, grow, adapt, and thrive.
You are likely experiencing the deeper imprints and impacts of ongoing and/or unhealed injuries or unprocessed stress or trauma which directly impacts the way you feel, move, breathe, sleep, digest, think, and relate to others and the world around you, which in turn can have profound impacts on your mind, body, relationships, work, and life.
I specialize in bridging the work of coaching, therapy, and physical therapy to tend to the deeper root causes and lingering impacts of stress and trauma and injuries so you can live more alive, aligned, and authentic in your body, relationships, and life.

“The body has been designed to renew itself through continuous self-correction. These same principles also apply to the healing of psyche, spirit, and soul.”

“Gillian and I met when I was 4 months postpartum as I was learning to navigate my new body and nourish it effectively. She helped me reconnect with myself and find direction in what my body was asking for. Her expertise and guidance blew me away. She guided me to understand the language and wisdom of MY body in a way that I would have struggled to do on my own. I can’t recommend Gillian enough if you are looking to go deeper into your being and anchor into yourself even more.”
